A Cartographic index of all geo-tagged posts and pages

After weeks and weeks of experimentation, trying out various mapping and track making freeware, shareware and Word Press plug ins, I seem to have come up with what I hope will be the final mix of parts and pieces to display what I want; an index of Route Maps and Elevation Profiles of some of our cycling and rafting experiences in the Emerald Empire of northern California, as well as map links to all geo-tagged posts and pages on the site. After a great deal of frustration with a previous (unnamed) route making plug-in and trying to geo-tag images and integrate with the maps, I came across the excellent XML Google Maps plug-in which has an excellent set of capabilities;

We are currently working toward combining this with GeoMashup which is much more tightly integrated into the Word Press Admin interface in fully tied into the Categories and Tags structure of Word Press as well. Below is what will become the index map linking to all geo-tagged posts and pages site wide. This is a work in progress so please bear with the imperfections, theyre being whittled away day by day.
